At Serein Counseling, Denise Olson is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. She believes that every person possesses unique strengths and resilience, and her role is to help clients recognize and build upon those strengths to create meaningful, lasting change.

Denise provides counseling for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship concerns, family conflict, behavioral challenges, impulse control difficulties, parenting concerns, trauma—including cultural and generational trauma—and Autism Spectrum Disorder (teens and adults). She also integrates holistic approaches, including Reiki, when appropriate and desired by the client, to support overall emotional and nervous system wellness.

Using a collaborative, person-centered approach, Denise creates a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her goal is to help individuals develop practical tools, deepen self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
